Membership Guidelines

SoCal Spirits Collective Mission

To combine resources, ideas, support, and best practices in a way that strengthens every member and provides a unified identity for local, independent spirits companies.

 

I. BRAND MEMBERSHIP

 

Brand Membership Provides:

 

1. Full participation in the planning and execution of all live events; full brand representation at all events and in all promotional materials

2. Brand-specific inclusion at socalspiritscollective.com

3. Access to all promotional assets: stickers, flyers, posters, print ads etc.

4. Inclusion in all relevant @socalspirits collective social

5. Inclusion and representation in all on-premise and off-premise interactions and sales initiatives

 

Brand Membership Requirements:

 

1. Business established (product in the market) for minimum of 1 year

2. Minimum production of 1,000 bottles per year

3. Minimum of 20 active on-premise and/or off-premise accounts

4. Product approval by SCSC Board is required

5. Annual membership dues: $350

 

 

Brand Membership Governance:

 

A brand is considered to be in good standing if:

 

1. It remains an active brand in the marketplace, meeting production and account minimums each year.

2. Membership dues are paid on a timely basis

3. Brand fully participates in the planning and execution of all SCSC events and initiatives

4. Note: SCSC Board reserves the right to review and/or revoke membership for a breach of any of the above-listed reasons, or for reasonable cause, such as conflict with other brands.

 

 

II. AFFILIATE MEMBERSHIP

 

Affiliate Membership Provides:

 

1. Inclusion in all SCSC events, promotions, and marketing assets

2. Inclusion in Affiliate Members section of the website

3. Access to all marketing and sales assets: flyers, posters, stickers, etc.

 

 

Affiliate Membership Requirements:

 

1. Business established (product in the market) for minimum of 1 year

2. Minimum production of 1,000 bottles per year

3. Business supports, complements, or supplies the spirits industry in a meaningful way: examples are selling and/or producing bar equipment, bitters, syrups, garnishes, or similar.

4. Affiliate approval by SCSC Board is required

5. Annual membership dues: $150

 

 

III. SCSC SUPPORTER MEMBERSHIP

 

SCSC Supporter Membership Provides:

 

1. Advance notice and Discounted VIP tickets to all SCSC events

2. Extra raffle tickets all events

3. Discounts on all SCSC member and affiliate merch

4. Special member discounts on SCSC spirits, buy direct at events

5. SCSC Logo tee

 

Spirits Lover Membership cost: $75 annually
